Project overview
Human Necessity Foundation (HNF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2015 that delivers clean drinking water through solar-powered water plants to communities without safe water, electricity or infrastructure. It also runs food distribution, shelter homes, relief programs and healthcare initiatives, and serves communities in Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Togo and Gambia.
The website is the organisation's main fundraising channel. It had to explain a large mission quickly, build trust with first-time donors, and send visitors to a donation action in as few clicks as possible, on both desktop and mobile.
The homepage opens with a clear message and a donate button, then supports it with impact counters, fundraising appeals with progress bars, a step-by-step explanation of how donations become water plants, a photo gallery from the field, donor testimonials and a section on countries and offices.
Strategic impact
The site turns a complex, multi-country charity into one clear journey: understand the mission, see proof, and donate. Trust signals such as the Charity Navigator rating, tax-exempt details, real field photos and donor testimonials sit next to every call to action.
